From lovely lakes and super slides to extraordinary events and fantastic flowers, Redditch’s parks have something for everyone to enjoy.

Which is why the Council is urging residents to take time and enjoy the open spaces as part of Love Parks Week which runs from July 28 to August 6.

The Council has signed up to Keep Britain Tidy’s annual campaign which celebrates parks, green spaces and the dedicated volunteers and workers who look after them.

Redditch Borough Cllr Joanne Beecham, whose portfolio covers Parks, said: “Our parks can bring people together whether it’s gathering for a picnic, feeding the ducks or pushing a little one on a swing. “And there’s something for everyone to enjoy - what’s not to love about our parks!”

There’s lots of free activities to do in our parks including disc golf and walks and the Council has also organised lots of fun things to do at the parks to mark the week:
