This year’s free lights trail event at Arrow Valley is set to be “more immersive than ever” as new details are announced.

Interactive features such as a video wall, mirror ball lights and lasers will be included in the trail which takes visitors by the lake and beyond at Arrow Valley Countryside Centre.

Redditch Borough Council which is hosting the lights trail has collaborated with a leading events company to secure the special effects.

A host of festive characters, fairies and Christmas Elves will be waiting to meet and greet everyone as they make their way round the trail.

The Council’s Portfolio-Holder for Leisure, Cllr Jo Beecham, said: “This annual lights trail is part of our ongoing commitment to provide fun and affordable entertainment for families across the Borough.

“We’ve really pulled out all the stops to make sure this event is more immersive than ever and I hope as many people kickstart the festive season with this event.

In addition to the new and improved trail, residents will also be able to enjoy street food, funfair rides and live entertainment at the trail which is open on December 1st from 6pm til 9pm
