Roadway Arts bus shelters

Abbeydale Matters

The stained glass bus shelter is situated on Easemore Road. The brick shelter, which was also placed on Easmore Road, was replaced with the 'Celebration of Community' bus shelter artwork in March 2015

The artwork for both shelters was created by the young people of Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre working with artists from Hedz. Both were installed in April 2010. 

Built Environment

This bus shelter artwork can be found on Matchborough Way by Frankton Close and Coldfield Drive. It was created by graphic designer Noel Campbell in 2012.

Creative Redditch>

This bus shelter is situated on Coldfield Drive and Evesham Road.  The artwork was created by graphic designer Noel Campbell in 2012.

Curiouser and Curiouser #1

This bus shelter is on Winyates Way. It was created by Alex Godwin in 2014, with help from the Wildlife Group and Eco Committee at Ipsley CE RSA Academy. 

Industry in Redditch

The artwork for the Industry in Redditch bus shelters was created by graphic designer Noel Campbell. It has been in place since August 2011 and can be found on Throckmorton Road, Studley Road, Lassington Close and Willow Way.

Nature in Redditch

The artwork for this bus shelter was created by graphic designer Noel Campbell in 2012. It can be found at Woodrow Centre and on Mason Road.

Seasons of Batchley

The artwork for this brick bus shelter was developed by local young people in Batchley working with artists from Hedz. It can be found on Foxlydiate Crescent.

Sports in Redditch 

The artwork for the Sports in Redditch bus shelters were created by the young people of Birchensdale Middle School working with artists from Hedz. The artwork has been in place since April 2010.

Views of Church Hill #1

The artwork for the Views of Church Hill #1 bus shelter was created by artist Andy 'Title' Mills, with help from Church Hill YMCA youth club. It has been in place on Church Hill Way since 2015.

Woodrow Matters

The artwork for the 'Woodrow Matters' bus shelter was created by the young people of Kingsley College working with artists from Cantoo. This artwork is now displayed on the Studley Road bus shelter.

Batchley Matters

The artwork for the 'Batchley Matters' bus shelter was created by the young people of Birchensdale Middle School working with artists from Hedz. It has been situated on Batchley Road since April 2010.

Celebration of Community

This bus shelter is situated on Easemore Road, opposite Dolphin Road. The artwork was created by artist Alex Godwin, working with year 9 pupils at Trinity High School. It was installed in March 2015. 

Celebrating Redditch

The artwork for the Celebrating Redditch bus shelters was created by students of NEW College, working with artist Erin Libetta. It was first installed in November 2010 and can be found on Paper Mill Drive, Winyates Way, Evesham Road and Windmill Drive.

 

Choose How You Move

Created by Choose How You Move. The bus shelters are situated in Matchborough Centre, Winyates Centre, Woodrow Centre, Grangers Lane, Evesham Road and Swinburne Road.  

Curiouser and Curiouser #2

This bus shelter is on Winyates Way. It was created by Alex Godwin in 2014, with help from the Wildlife Group and Eco Committee at Ipsley CE RSA Academy. 

Inspired by Nature

There are two brick bus shelters on Church Hill Way. The artwork was inspired by images from nature and was created by the pupils of Arrow Vale Sixth Form and Hedz in 2010.

Matchborough Matters 

The artwork for the Matchborough Matters bus shelters was created by young people of Matchborough First School and Arrow Vale High School, working with artist Paul Clifford. They have been in place since April 2008.

Town and Nature

This artwork can be found on Middle Piece Drive. It was created in 2012 by residents of Fordbridge Close and artist Andy Mills. 

Views of Church Hill #2

The artwork for the Views of Church Hill #2 bus shelter was created by artist Andy 'Title' Mills, with help from Church Hill YMCA youth club. It has been in place on Church Hill Way since 2015.

Winyates Matters

The artwork for the 'Winyates Matters' bus shelters was created by the young people of Arrow Vale High School and Ipsley CE RSA Middle School working with Cantoo. The artwork has been in place on Winyates Way since July 2009.
