Infrastructure Improvements to Arrow Valley Car Parks

As part of the council’s car park improvement scheme, Redditch Borough Council will be undertaking significant works in this area between April and June. Due to the nature of the work, we may be required to close the car parks at various points during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank visitors for their patience.

Phase 3: Widening of road (estimated time late April to early May)
The car parks will be closed to the public during this time so that contractors can widen areas of the connecting road, as well as adding a layby to ease the flow of traffic.

Phase 4: new entrance (estimated to take place throughout May)
Work will begin to construct the new entrance to Battens Drive Car Park to improve the flow of traffic into both the park and the supermarket car parks.

Phase 5: finishing works (estimated time end of May to early June)
Closure of the old entrance, relining work, fencing and the installation of a new height barrier.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of May or early June but is weather dependent and subject to change.
