Redditch Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2024 – Documents for public inspection

The Council is making changes to the car parking order which governs the use of Council run off-street car parks in Redditch. The existing order which was made in 2009 is now out of date and the Council is proposing to revoke the 2009 Order and replace it with the Redditch Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2024.

Under the relevant legislation the Council must advertise the proposed changes in a local newspaper, and the relevant press notice has been issued in the Redditch Standard dated 10th November 2023.

In addition, the draft order car parking order and supporting documents are required to be made available to the public for inspection.

Hard copies of the documents are available to inspect in person at the Town Hall, Walter Stranz Square, Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 8AH between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00.

The Council is proposing that the new arrangements shall come into effect on 2nd January 2024.

Any person wishing to make representations relating to the draft Order must do so in writing stating the grounds upon which they are to be made to the Head of Legal, Democratic and Property Services at the address below within 21 days from 10th November 2023. Any objections to the making of the Order must specify the grounds on which they are made.
