Purpose:

Recruitment to the Neighbourhood Board for the Pride in Place programme.

Lawful Basis:

  • Article 6(1)(e) – Public task: processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority.
  • Article 6(1)(b) – Contract (where relevant to appointment processes).
  • Article 9(2)(g) – Substantial public interest (if collecting special category data, e.g., equalities monitoring).

  • Unsuccessful candidates: 6 months
  • Successful candidate appointed to Neighbourhood Board: retained for the duration of the appointment + standard local authority retention schedule for governance records.
