1. Who we are
Redditch Borough Council are the data controllers for the personal information provided when completing the contact form or survey. We are doing this survey as a part of the community engagement so that we can understand how residents feel about the Greenlands and Woodrow Pride in Place area.
2. What information we collect
We collect and process personal data from the enquiry forms and/or survey, which may include:
- Name, telephone number and email address
- Organisation details, if applicable
- Information about the ideas put forward
3. How we use your information
If you opt in to receive updates, we will use your contact details to keep you informed about Pride in Place. We will only send these communications where you have chosen to receive them, and you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting prideinplace@redditchbc.gov.uk and asking to be removed from the contact list.
4. Lawful basis for processing
We process your personal data under Article 6(1)(e) of the UK GDPR – Public Task, as the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority.
Where we send electronic communications to keep you informed about Pride in Place, we will only do so if you have chosen to receive these updates. These communications are sent in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) 2003, and you may withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Your information may be shared with:
- Surveys will be shared between Redditch Borough Council and Genecon. Genecon are undertaking the initial community engagement exercise.

All recipients are required to comply with the robust data protection standards we adhere to and to respect the confidentiality and security of your data.
6. Data Retention
We will retain the surveys and forms submitted for 4 years.
