Application Pride in Place

Recruitment of Independent Chair

We are looking for a passionate, community‑minded individual to become the Chair of the Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board, supporting the Greenlands and Woodrow areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who cares deeply about the neighbourhood and wants to help guide investment that will make a real and lasting difference to local people.

You will lead a board that is responsible for managing up to £20 million over a 10-year period, working to boost, regenerate and improve local community assets.  The Board will be responsible for reviewing ideas, shaping priorities, and ensuring funding is allocated fairly and transparently.

This role is perfect for someone who believes in community empowerment, enjoys bringing people together, and wants to help make Greenlands and Woodrow a better place to live.

You do not need formal leadership experience.  The Chair will be accountable to the Neighbourhood Board and will work closely with the local MP, ward councillors and Redditch Borough Council.
