Open Space Study

The Open Space Study 2023 was commissioned by Redditch Borough Council and carried out by specialist consultants. It forms part of the evidence used to develop the Council's Leisure and Culture Strategy and complements the Playing Pitch Strategy.

The study:

• Assesses open spaces across the borough
• Reviews feedback from residents on local open spaces
• Identifies current and future needs
• Recommends standards for the amount of open space needed and how accessible it should be

The findings will help guide future planning and investment in open spaces across Redditch.
