March 2026 Letting Results

The below table provides information of the number of empty properties that were relet in March 2026 

It is split into property type, the number of bedrooms, location, the band of the successful applicant and how long the applicant was in that band.  

This is a good indicator of how long you may be waiting to be housed. 

Summary 

32 Redditch Borough Council properties became available for reletting plus 

7 Housing Association properties  

39 properties in total 

6 properties were Direct Matched to applicants in Band 1

33 properties were allocated to applicants via our Choice Based Letting scheme 

Whilst the demand for family sized accommodation remains high, as we have had more properties become available recently through new build developments and buying properties on the open market means that we are continuing to see successful bids from applicants in band 2, for 2 and 3 bed size properties. Bedsits and one-bedroom properties remain in good supply and because of this people from lower bandings have been successful with bids placed.
