It’s a tagline you’ve probably heard or seen before?

It is also a point in time that carries considerable weight in the motorcycle heritage stakes as it makes Royal Enfield the oldest motorcycle manufacturer still in production and Redditch is the birthplace of this remarkable business that continues to trade worldwide to this day.

A broad range of exciting projects have been initiated by Redditch Borough Council and Cultural Compact partners in partnership with Royal Enfield now based in Chennai India. This exciting international partnership has seen:

• Thousands of visits to Kingfisher Shopping Centre for the Royal Enfield Showcase Past Present and Future bringing visitors from across Europe.
• Gordon May , Royal Enfield’s Global Brand Historian rode the ‘Project Origin’, a faithful working replica of the brand’s very first ‘motor-bicycle’ during Queens Baton Relay celebrations in Arrow Valley in 2022.

We are particularly proud of the most recent project in conjunction with ReNEW where a sculpture to celebrate Royal Enfield is now available for public viewing at The Boathouse Cafe at Arrow Valley Lake and a film celebrating this recent project can be seen below.
