Landlords to be let in on industry best practice

Private sector landlords, letting agents, and property professionals are being invited to Redditch Borough Council’s upcoming Landlord Forum later this month.

In partnership with Bromsgrove District Council, the event will take place at Parkside Hall, (Parkside, Market Street, Bromsgrove, B61 8DA) on Wednesday 22 October, from 5pm – 8pm. Landlords are invited to attend an evening of expert advice, networking, and updates on the latest news from the industry.

The free event offers a valuable opportunity to hear from industry experts, connect with fellow professionals, and stay ahead of changes in the private rented sector. The expert-led sessions are packed with practical advice to help Landlords thrive in today’s ever-evolving market.

Speakers will include representatives from the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), Act On Energy, and the council’s own Private Sector Housing Team. Topics covered will include energy efficiency, housing standards, legislative changes, renter’s rights, and more.

Portfolio Holder for Housing, Councillor Bill Hartnett, said:"We’re really pleased to welcome landlords from across Redditch to this forum. It’s a friendly and informative evening where you can hear useful updates, ask questions, and meet others working in the sector. We value the role landlords play in our community and want to support them in providing safe, good quality homes for local residents."
