Christmas Message From The Mayor of Redditch Cllr Joanna Kane

“Since becoming Mayor in May, I have gone out and about across our Borough to meet the wonderful people who work tirelessly throughout the year, including the festive period, to support our communities. They are often volunteers and very rarely seek any recognition for their efforts.

“There are hundreds of other people who are still working over the holiday period – the NHS, the police, other emergency workers and our refuse collectors to name a few.

“I would like to say a big thank you to all of you.

“I also want to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.”
