Market Stall

Local businesses, crafts people, charities and organisations can show their wares this summer at a variety of public events across the borough.

Opportunities to have a stall at a number of council organised events such as the Bandstand Vintage Day, Morton Stanley Festival and the Green Fair are now being offered by the borough council.

Local craftspeople, exhibitors, service providers and any other businesses, as well as charities and community groups, are welcome to take up a pitch and sell their wares to local people attending the events.

The first of the summer events will be a Vintage Day at the Bandstand on June 15th. The council are looking for any appropriately themed businesses to take up stalls and make it a day to remember. This will be followed by a programme of other bandstand events once per month until the end of September.

This year’s Green Fair will take place on Sunday July 7th from 11 til 4.30pm and Morton Stanley Festival is scheduled in for its usual weekend of 17th and 18th August.

Val Wilson, Events Officer, said: “Many people will be aware of the community section at Morton Stanley Festival, where anyone can rent a stall to display crafts or other products, or simply make information available to people attending the event.

“What may be less well known are the similar opportunities that exist across other events in Redditch, such as the popular Green Fair in Arrow Valley Country Park and our Bandstand events including a vintage day in June.”

The event stalls are available at various low rates, which can be free for community groups. For more information please contact the council's Events Team.
