Redditch residents are being reminded about the deadline for making changes to their details if they are claiming benefits from the Council.

As the Council prepares to run its end of year processing, all computer systems will be unavailable for any changes to be made to customers’ details.

If residents receive Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support, the team needs to know any changes before February 28th as no further changes can be made until after March 4.

Redditch Borough Councillor Tom Baker Price, whose portfolio covers finance, said: “We want to make sure we have the most up-to-date, correct information about our customers so we can accurately assess and pay any relevant benefits to them.”
