15th June: Vasudhaiva Ride workshops

Meet Ben and Prashant who have spent the last three years riding from "motherland to motherland" on two Royal Enfield bikes.

Could you make an entire usable, self-sustaining house or a stray animal shelter entirely out of recycled materials? These guys have! Find out how and try your hand at upcycling at this event and hear about their incredible journey across more than 20 countries.

Hear about their journey in Worcester Square* (near Costa and Boots) from 3pm or take part in their upcycling workshops at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm, using waste materials gathered from the Redditch area.

In January 2017, Ben and Prashant set out on their 60,000+ km, project based journey driven by the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam-- "The whole world is one family"

Benjamin Reid-Howells and Prashant Kumar - public speakers and world leading upcycling artists - have carried out service projects in education, housing and resilient skills trainings with underprivileged communities and organizations in remote areas right across the world from India to Scotland: one motherland to another.

Prashant and Ben are now working to share the stories from their journey for hope and positive change.

*Please note the change of venue. This will no longer take place at the Royal Enfield shop due to space limitations.
