Royal Enfield Showcase

After 52 years, Royal Enfield are back in Redditch! On Saturday June 1st the company held an exclusive European unveiling of a new model to Royal Enfield's brand new trials Bullet which is now being followed by a six week showcase for visitors to enjoy.

The brand new “Concept KX” is a V-Twin motorcycle and will be accompanied by 16 other motorcycles ranging from Classic, Bullet, Interceptor INT 650, Continental GT 650 and Himalayan to take visitors on a journey through the past, present and future of the iconic brand in a museum style showcase.

Every weekend over the course of a six week showcase there will be something new for visitors to see and hear.

The showcase is open throughout the week and every Saturday will boast a different theme including a visit from Ben Reid-Howells and Prashant Kumar, one of the world's leading upcyclers, who have returned to England after a three year ‘Vasudhaiva Ride’ on Royal Enfield bikes.

Thanks to support from the Kingfisher Centre, the local Royal Enfield Owners’ Club and other community and history groups, the showcase will appear in the shop opposite Clintons and the original Royal Enfield Shop, on Church Green, which will boast a new frontage and display, the way it would have looked in time gone by.

The Showcase will be open:
Monday to Friday: 10am - 4pm
Saturdays: 10.30am - 4pm
Sundays: 11am - 3pm

15th June: Vasudhaiva Ride workshops

Meet Ben and Prashant who have spent the last three years riding from "motherland to motherland" on two Royal Enfield bikes.

Could you make an entire usable, self-sustaining house or a stray animal shelter entirely out of recycled materials? These guys have! Find out how and try your hand at upcycling at this event and hear about their incredible journey across more than 20 countries.

Hear about their journey in Worcester Square* (near Costa and Boots) from 3pm or take part in their upcycling workshops at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm.

In January 2017, Ben and Prashant set out on their 60,000+ km, project based journey driven by the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam-- "The whole world is one family"

Benjamin Reid-Howells and Prashant Kumar - public speakers and world leading upcycling artists - have carried out service projects in education, housing and resilient skills trainings with underprivileged communities and organizations in remote areas right across the world from India to Scotland: one motherland to another.

Prashant and Ben are now working to share the stories from their journey for hope and positive change.

*Please note the change of venue. This will no longer take place at the Royal Enfield shop due to space limitations.
