The Acts

The Crow House

A derelict house appears in the middle of the street. The windows are shattered and a keep out sign bars the front door. A furious bird has taken up residency in the chimney and squawks territoriality when anyone comes near the house.

One by one three very different characters arrive through the audience and try to take over the house. A battle of wills and skills ensues with ducking and diving, wheeling and dealing and ingenious plans evolving as each person tries to gain a room inside.  Little by little in a choreographed frenzy of acrobatics, silks trapeze, hat juggling and circus slap stick they begin to accept each other and work to create a home, together, within the battered house. The only remaining problem ... the furious bird in the chimney.
A wonderful silent movie inspired show using an eclectic mix of circus, puppetry, musical saw, harp playing and audience participation.

Professor Chandler's Punch and Judy Show

A simple pleasure for all ages, which never fails to delight. Professor Chandler is an expert in raising smiles. Come and see the Crocodile and old Mr Punch up to their usual tricks!

Wonder Woman

Diana, the International Woman of Mystery, introduces herself then changes into Wonder Woman while hula hooping. The main issue is how she actually does the spin and changes costume so fast, or not so fast in this case. She plays out the story of saving the world from the Inimitable Dr Evil. With the help of her love interest and  sidekick, Steve, she defies all odds and manages to escape the evil laser rings that Dr Evil throws her way. Working towards the grand finale where Steve saves her from the 50 Hoops of doom.

Fatt Matt the Acrobat

The Fatt Matt show is full of world-class circus skills and is delivered with exquisite showmanship. Having worked in circus for 20 years, and trained under Russian and Chinese tutelage, he performs a completely unique show that leaves all audiences impressed. Playing a ukulele whilst standing on his head, no hands on the ground, balancing three eggs upon a chopstick upon his nose and performing the legendary one armed handstand upon a tower of pint glasses.

Please note that outdoor performances are subject to change/cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. The event programme may be subject to change.
