Warm Homes Grant Funding Wave 3
Redditch Borough Council has been awarded £2.25m in Warm Homes Grant funding named Wave 3.
This coupled with match co -funding from the RBC Capital budget releases £4.5m of funding for Energy Efficiency measures across the Social Housing estate over 3 years.
The project runs from April 2025 to 2028 for approximately 230 properties initially highlighted in Woodrow, Churchill and Town Centre.
The Project is being run by the Housing Capital Team who have appointed the Principle Contractor - Lovells Partnerships Ltd.
Residents in receipt of Energy Efficiency measures under this scheme can visit the contractors base for information and advice at:
15 Doverdale Close,
B98 7SB.
The project will install a variety of measures to the homes to ensure they remain comfortable, energy efficient and potentially lower energy bills. Each property will receive a Retrofit Assessment and if the current EPC is lower than a C, the occupants will be offered measures to raise the EPC to a C or above.
To allow RBC and Lovells to complete the works, we will need the cooperation and assistance of our tenants.
We will require access to your property, clear working areas including lofts, kitchen, bathroom, and agreement to complete all measures.
We are unable to complete all assessments and installs in one visit and therefore ask for the patience of all affected tenants.
