Date Set for Green Fair

Redditch Borough Council has set a date in the calendar for the long-standing Green Fair event, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The free entry event has taken place in the Borough for over a decade and will again take place at Arrow Valley Country Park, on Saturday June 14^th between 11am and 7pm.

The Green Fair is being given a fresh start this year, proactively promoting sustainability, biodiversity, climate change awareness, nature, upcycling and health and wellbeing.

Cabinet Member for Leisure, Cllr. Juliet Barker Smith, said: “The Green Fair event is having a fresh start this year and hopes to inspire, educate, celebrate, and promote a greener tomorrow in our Borough.”

The Fair at Arrow Valley Country Park will have information stalls, health, wellbeing and mindfulness activities as well as arts & crafts activities with the aim to inspire, educate and celebrate.

In addition, there will also be live entertainment, a children’s funfair and a food court.
