Redditch residents who might be concerned about their energy bills are being encouraged to contact their local free energy advice service.

Expert energy saving advice is available to everyone in the borough, with specialist advisors on call for the latest guidance on how best to slash energy bills as well as the various funding options for energy-saving home improvements.

Redditch Borough Council’s Portfolio Holder for Finance and Enabling Cllr David Thain said: “We’ve all heard how energy costs are on the rise. For anyone who’s concerned about their bills, I hope you’ll get in touch with our free local energy advice service. It could help you save money.”

Energy advice topics range from help to find the best deals and energy tariffs, to making best use of heating controls and energy-efficient home improvements such as better insulation and boilers – including finding any financial help that may be available.

Leader of the Council Cllr Matt Dormer said: “With a bit of advice from the experts you can make sure you’re not missing any tricks that could be cutting your bills - and your carbon footprint too. It’s the whole reason we have the service.”
