The Easter Bunny paid a visit to some lucky youngsters last week at two very special Easter parties.

Children of all ages from across the borough attended the parties hosted by Redditch Parenting and Community Team at the Town Hall on Thursday (April 18).

The youngsters enjoyed making Easter Bonnets to take part in a parade, decorating Easter cards and bunnies, and sports and games by the council’s Sports Development Team, as well as face painting. Every child that attended received snacks, a free Easter gift to take home and enjoyed a story and song session provided by the Library.

A special thank you goes to Redditch Asda who provided the snacks and to Morrisons who donated 20 Easter eggs.

Lou Hall, personal friend of the Easter Bunny and Parenting and Community Team Officer, said: “We went all out with our Easter activities and we know that the children who came along had an absolute ball. A big thank you to the team who worked really hard to put it on and to the supermarkets who donated. We’re pleased that so many children and families came along and we hope you all had a lovely time.”

The Parenting and Community service is for all families in Redditch with children and young people aged 0-19 years.
