Redditch’s budding young stars can portray infamous characters Prince Ali, Jasmine and the Genie this summer as the Palace Youth Theatre (PYT) put on a performance of Disney’s Aladdin (JR).

Young performers aged 8 to 18, looking for something to keep them busy in the summer holidays can now sign up for the Palace Youth Theatre’s two week summer school.
Participants will come together in July/August for two weeks of rehearsals with professionals before putting on two performances at the Palace Theatre.
Liz Tabberer, Youth Theatre and Arts Officer, said: “Everyone knows the story of Aladdin and we’re extremely excited that we’re able to put on the brilliant Disney version of this show. If you’re looking for something different to get involved in over the summer then what could be more exciting than staging a show in just two weeks? Sign up now for the chance to challenge your creative ability, develop performance skills and make friends in a fun and exciting environment.”
Rehearsals will run weekdays from 31st July to 11th August 10am to 4pm with two shows on Saturday 13th August at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Summer School costs £150 per child or £75 sibling discount. Payment plans are available. To book, please contact the Palace Theatre Box Office on 01527 65203.
