Community litter pick

GB Spring Clean Logo Final"The Great British Spring Clean is a campaign with one simple ambition. To bring together people from across the country to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and coastline."

That's the national campaign, focused around the weekend of 3-5 March. But in Redditch we will support you all year long!

We’ve got lots of experience of arranging community litter picks, and as well as providing you with any equipment you need like litter picking sticks and refuse sacks, we can advise you on health and safety and come and collect your bags of rubbish when you have finished.

We will make targeted resources and support available where possible to anyone that wants to organise a local community litter pick this year under the Great British Spring Clean, and you can nominate your place to be targeted under the scheme here. Alternatively contact your ward councillor.

The small print

We can only normally work on public highways or council-owned land. Private land is usually the responsibility of the landowner. However we may also support volunteer litter picking on private land if permission is given by the landowner and it benefits the local area.
