Lifeline services during Coronavirus

We recognise the vital role NEW Lifeline and telecare services play in supporting individuals who are currently self-isolating.

Our Monitoring Centre will remain staffed and ready to assist 24/7.

We continue to operate an installation and maintenance service to new and existing service users.

We are providing daily reassurance calls for those without contact or company. We are in touch with community groups and social services. We are sign-posting and making referrals for people who need a little extra support.

We can mobilise quickly (usually within 24hrs) where there is an urgent need, so please get in contact if you think we can help.

This page will be kept up to date with any other changes to our services throughout the Coronavirus outbreak.

Safety measures

We have changed our installation and maintenance procedures in line with the latest government advice, so that we may keep our employees and service users safe.

Our staff are all following strict procedures and have all been issued with personal protective equipment for your and their safety.

When carrying out installations, our installation officers will:

  • Spend as little time as possible in your property and
  • Complete all paperwork via a telephone call before the visit.

We are now also able to provide sufficient instruction for ‘self installation’.  If the service user does not want a home visit we can drop off pre-programmed equipment to be plugged in by the service user, family or carer.

We have taken steps to allow our administrative staff to work remotely, and to minimise staff within our administration office. This may mean you have to wait longer than normal when calling our 01527 534060 number.

Thank you for your understanding at this time.
