Productivity Plan

As part of a national review of public sector productivity, councils were asked to produce productivity plans

These plans help government understand how councils are improving services, using resources efficiently and delivering value for residents. They also identify examples of good practice, common challenges and opportunities for further improvement.

The plans will be reviewed by a panel of local government and public sector experts. Their findings will help inform future government policy and support councils to improve services and efficiency across the country.
