VCS applications open for Main Grants pot

Voluntary and community groups are invited to bid for up to £10k of the council’s £100K pot of grant funding for 2026.

Anyone interested in applying can bid for funding from £500 up to £10K, to help with core costs and salaries, or to support them to deliver great community events, projects and activities. 

The applications have been broken down into two categories, between £500 and £2,000 and then £2,001 and £10,000.

The application process opens from 9.00am on Friday 30^th October 2026, until 4.00pm on Friday 20^th November 2026.

Leader of Redditch Borough Council, Cllr Matt Dormer, said: “The voluntary and community sector makes an invaluable contribution to life in Redditch, helping residents connect, thrive and access support when they need it most. We are pleased to once again offer grant funding to help organisations continue delivering projects and activities that make a positive difference across the borough.”

There is set criteria in place that anyone wishing to apply must meet. Each proposed project must be needed in the area, well planned, outcome focussed and aligned to the council’s Strategic Purposes.
