Still Time to Influence Decisions

Residents across Redditch district are being encouraged to take part in the My Neighbourhood Survey for 2026.

Now at its halfway point, there’s three weeks left to complete the survey, which shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes, and have your say on key issues.

The survey presents an opportunity for residents to share their views on their local area, including community safety, cleanliness, waste, and recycling services. Feedback collected will help shape future priorities and service improvements.

Leader of the Council, Cllr Mat Dormer, said: “The My Neighbourhood Survey gives residents a direct voice in shaping the services and improvements that matter most to them. Last year’s feedback helped us address issues such as environmental crime, anti-social behaviour, and neighbourhood cleanliness.”

The Council is encouraging anyone who hasn’t taken part yet to complete the survey and help influence future decision-making before it closes at 9am on 21 September.

Last years responses directly informed improvements and action across local communities, including:

• Tackling graffiti and vandalism at Arrow Valley play area
• Responding to reports of drug-related anti-social behaviour in neighbourhoods and car parks
• Addressing fly tipping hot spots
• Improving the management of weeds, hedges, and grassed areas through the purchase of new equipment
• Strengthening neighbourhood engagement through the introduction of Neighbourhood wardens

Cllr. Dormer continued: “As we pass the halfway point of this year’s survey, I would encourage everyone to take a few minutes to tell us about their experiences and priorities so we can continue making Redditch and even better place to live.”
