Glow Hard or Glow Home

Spooky sights and glowing surprises await as Redditch Borough Council unveils its free, family friendly Halloween Light Trail.

Visitors will discover several Halloween themed experiences this year, including brand new attractions such as ‘Sinister Spinster’ and ‘Groaning Bark Forest’.

As darkness falls, the trail comes alive with glowing pathways, shimmering trees and spectral projections lurking around every corner.

Held in Morton Stanley Park, the seasonal frights take place on Saturday 24th October as the park is transformed with immersive visual installations.

There are interactive photo opportunities throughout the trail, so residents are encouraged to dress up for the event in their spookiest Halloween costumes.

Leader of Redditch Borough Council, Cllr. Matt Dormer, who’s portfolio includes leisure, said: “We're excited to see the return of the Halloween Light Trail and all the excitement it brings. The event offers something a little different, combining spectacular visual effects with plenty of Halloween fun to create an unforgettable evening for visitors of all ages.”

Alongside the trail, visitors can enjoy a funfair featuring some frightful rides and feast on treats at the ‘Trick or Treat Street Food Court’.

The event opens at 5pm and runs through until 10pm on the night, with parking for Blue Badge holders in the Morton Stanley car park but spaces are limited so arrive early.
