Armed Forces Day flag to fly
The Armed Forces Day flag is due to be raised in Redditch to show support for armed forces communities in the borough and nationwide.
The Mayor of Redditch, Cllr Susan Eacock, is to be joined by service personnel from 37 Signal Regiment, The Royal British Legion as well as the leader of Redditch Borough Council among others as she raises the special flag, in a ceremony at the front of the Town Hall.
Mayor of Redditch, Cllr Susan Eacock, said: “As we raise the Armed Forces Day flag, we not only honour those who have served, but also reaffirm our ongoing support for the men and women who continue to protect our nation.”
The ceremony will take place on Monday 22 June 2026 from 10am with the flag being raised for the duration of a week including Saturday 27 June which officially marks the 18th Armed Forces Day.
