Roadway Arts

Roadway Arts uses artwork inspired by the local community to help make underpasses and bus shelters places that we can enjoy using, where we can feel safe and stay connected to our community.

It began in 2007 with the “Forever Redditch” mural on the Ipsley Street underpass underneath the Redditch Ringway, near the town centre.

Since then the project has gone from strength to strength and now includes more than 30 pieces of art at over 50 different locations around Redditch in underpasses, on bus shelters and shop shutters.

The latest phase of the work has been supported by funding from Choose How You Move and the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner.
