Getting around with Shopmobility

You must be registered to use Shopmobility. You only need to do this once.

To register we just require two forms of identification, one with your photograph and another with proof of your address.

If you aren’t sure if you have what you need to register, please contact us for advice.

Booking is advisable. We advise that you contact us to book 24 hours in advance if possible, so that we can guarantee availability

We will help you to decide on the appropriate equipment for you, then simply collect your equipment, or if you are unable to get to us we can bring equipment to you in the town centre. We will train you on how to use it, and answer any questions.

We can help you to get between your vehicle and our premises, and to carry your shopping and load up your car.

We cannot help you with personal care or to be lifted. If you need this kind of support you will need to bring a helper along with you.

We are now open 9-4pm Monday-Saturday – closing for lunch on a Saturday and closed on Bank Holidays. Equipment to be returned by 3.40pm

If we are closed, there are a few wheelchairs available from Guest Services within the Kingfisher Centre
