Helping landlords understand the latest changes to regulations due to Covid-19 is one of the aims of a Worcestershire online landlords’ forum.

The free event is open to all landlords and letting agents in the county and is being held on Tuesday 8 June at 2pm.  It is being organised by the six district councils along with the National Residential Landlords Association. It will offer expert advice on the latest changes to legislation and explain all the options open to landlords to get the best outcomes for them and their tenants.

Redditch Borough Councillor Craig Warhurst whose Portfolio covers Housing, said: “Covid 19 has affected the housing sector and brought about changes in regulations in the rental sector.
“As lockdown restrictions are easing we wanted to pool all of our resources, with our neighbouring authorities, so our landlords have access to expert advice, online, for free.”

The district councils will also be sharing information on the schemes and initiatives available for landlords in their areas.
Any landlord or letting agent wanting to register for the event can do so here.
