9.30am - Pilates - £3.30 from January 2018
Pilates develops much of what we need — strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance, and good posture — with a much lower chance of injury than with other forms of exercise. The discipline emphasizes correct form instead of going for the burn. With so many exercise variations and progressions, you may have a hard time getting bored with Pilates.
2pm - Tai Chi - £2.00
Combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. Originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, tai chi is today practised around the world as a health-promoting exercise. Tai Chi is commonly performed as a low-impact exercise, which means it won’t put much pressure on your bones and joints. Most people should be able to do it.
10.30am to 12pm - Live Well Be Well - £2.00
A community course aimed at helping people to make the right life choices, looking at healthy food choices and different types of exercise. Every week we do 45minutes of discussion around health/food/activity and 45minutes of exercise including Pilates/Tai Chi/Strength and Balance.
Our aim is to find something for everyone, to help you improve your health by increasing activity and improving diet.
The £2.00 per session includes access to all of our community session for the length of the course.
