Community Exercise Sessions:
10.30am Ladies 50+ Exercise
Fun and lively exercise session for Active Senior Ladies only.
12pm Mixed Fitness
Fun and lively sessions for Active Seniors, of both sexes.
11.30am - 60+ Exercise
Gentle exercise class for older people, utilising a chair to aid with balance, although a lot of the class is standing. The instructor will work on improving joint mobility as well as increasing strength and balance.
Refreshments and time for a chat at the end of the session.
12.30pm - Beginners Yoga
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.
6pm - Tai Chi (starting Thursday 8th March)
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focussed manner. It is suitable for people who want to improve strength and balance as well as reduce stress and anxiety.
All sessions operate on a "Pay as you go" basis, so there is no need to book, you can turn up and join in.
