Litter and street cleaning

We all want a clean and safe Redditch. If there is a problem somewhere, please tell us as soon as you can.

We deal with litter, graffiti, flyposting, dead animals, dog fouling, spillages and sweeping of paths and roads.

We respond urgently to reports of hazardous waste on Council land such as broken glass, surgical sharps, bodily fluids or dog waste outside schools or on hard surface play areas.

Street signs

If you’ve noticed a broken or damaged street name plate, please report it to us using the online form on this page.

Problems can include:

  • The sign needs cleaning
  • The sign has been knocked over/ leaning
  • The face of the sign is missing

Street name plates are the wall-mounted or column-mounted signs that give the name of a street (and often the post code).
