Tell us about a long term absence

If for any reason you are not going to be in your property for more than four weeks you must let us know.

The absence may affect your benefit entitlement, and so you must notify our Benefits team of a change in your circumstances

If you have not told us that you are going to be absent, we may also think you have abandoned the property and start action to repossess it.
