Browse forward plans

The Forward Plan gives details of the items on which key decisions are likely to be taken by the Executive Committee or full Council, over the coming 4 months.   

Redditch Borough Council has defined a “key decision” as a decision that is likely to:

• result in changes to the approved Budget and Policy Framework;
• result in expenditure or savings amounting to £1,000 or more; OR
• have a significant effect on a community or communities living or working in two or more wards of Redditch Borough Council, even where there might not be any financial implications.  

The purpose of the Forward Plan is to alert the public to the times at which key decisions are to be taken by the Executive Committee or Council so that they can raise matters of concern with their Ward Councillor; it also gives non-Executive Councillors the opportunity to see if they would like to scrutinise any of the key decisions before they are made.

The Forward Plan is updated monthly and is published on or near the 15th day of every month.

Comments or representations about any matter listed in the Plan can be made to the Officer detailed alongside the relevant item.

These comments or representations must be received by:

• no later than 14 days prior to the expected date of the decision being taken (if known); or
• any other date as specified in the particular consultation document.

Any document listed on the Forward Plan will be available five working days before the relevant meeting from Committee Services.
