There are seven Councillors who sit on the Audit and Governance Committee. The Committee meets approximately six times a year.
The role of the Audit and Governance Committee is primarily to ensure good stewardship of the Council’s resources and that adequate and effective systems of internal financial control and corporate governance are in place.
Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of the Audit and Governance Committee.
