Private Hire Operator licensing
Anyone who invites and accept bookings for private hire vehicles are deemed to be a private hire operator. If you are acting as private hire operator in our area, you need to hold a licence granted by us.
We have adopted a policy and procedures on the licensing of private hire operators. These are contained in our Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy, You can download a copy of the new Policy from the WRS website here
